Vinyl Ester Resins
PLI’s/Our Vinyl ester reins is a Bisphenol-A Epoxy-based resin dissolved in styrene. This resin provides the corrosion resistance, durability, and toughness that is required in CIPP industry. This resin system has an advantage over epoxy when it comes to certain specific applications where fluid temperature is relatively higher. Also, this resin system has very good chemical resistance in certain industrial applications*.

Benefits
Vinyl Ester’s molecular architecture provides an excellent balance of corrosion and performance properties.
- Meets requirements of California Green book Pickle Jar Test
- Excellent catalyzed pot life
- Superior mechanical properties
PERFORMANCES GUIDELINES:
A. Keep full strength catalyst levels between 1.0% – 3.0% of the total resin weight.
B. The resin is stable for three months from the date of production when stored in cool place and away from sunlight at no more than 25°F/77°F. During the hot summer months, no more than two months stability at 30°C/86°F should be anticipated. After extended storage, some drift may occur in gel time and viscosity.
